Homeless nation on education
I'm glad to see the topic of education is finally up on the blog list.
I am organizing a project about higher education for street involved people of all ages and backgrounds. What I need is some willing street involved peoples opinions on the subject of trying to acieve higher education and the struggles that need to be overcome. I would also like to have non-street involved opinions and see what can be done to educate poor people for either free or a small fee via outreach college teachers.
I will also organize an educational video focussed on talking to college/university deans, teachers and students who are currently enrolled in college/university programs.
Half the reason for this is for me to be recognized and accepted as a future student. The other half is to help you become a future student as well.
If you're interested, talk to me (Ben) and you can do a short blurb with your personal, one-of-a-kind, opinion on the importance of education and the roadblocks that need to be removed.
E-mail me at destinedgamer@yahoo.ca. Later!

hi if u want my bit check out my blog on education where i typed out a whole booklist on a lot of the problems homeless face. I feel the best education comes from the Bible as it covers all areas of life and ways to live successfully. also I included a lot of other books to explain the psychological factors that keep the cycle of homelessness/abuse etc going. I had to stop my own cycles this is how the books where sitting in the library and the Bible has been around for centuries and I know the Jehovahs Witnesses do free pesonalized Bible studies and I just kept repeating the same mistakes for years till I developed the self awareness to realize what I was doing wrong...too much pride. gotta help people to help themselves - best thing. develop self awareness, awareness = change = hope = more change...like a positive cycle now.
