UN Minister Supports Homeless in Vancouver

The United Nations Minister delegated to observe the devastating situation facing homeless people in Canada gives some words of support for those struggling with homelessness. He states that the fact that the UN has to continually monitor this situation is a sign of just how serious the international community sees this issue in one of the leading first world countries in the world. He spoke in Vancouver during a week long visit in which he meet with many concerned citizens, government, and attended several homeless shelters as well as the TENT CITY squat on city land where the promise to build social housing prior to the Winter Olympic Games has not materialized.
