It's Getting Cold Again

It's that time of year again. The leaves are turning colors and falling from the trees. The wind is getting colder and the rain heavier. It's time to pack up the tent and move inside.
That should be simple but here in Vancouver, home of the 2010 Olympics we aren't so lucky. For $375 a month, most of us are stuck living SRO hotels . But most of these decrepit but affordable buildings are kicking out the "undesirable folk" (as well as the bedbugs, roaches and rodents) to fix the place up so they can accomodate the rich folk for a couple of weeks in three years from now. So we are left with no place to go. The VPD are cracking down on the homeless by trying to rid the streets of us. Try giving us somewhere to go instead of just trying to make us disappear.
