In December of 2004, The Homeless Nation team conducted their first "curbside" excercise. In collaboration with Ile Sans Fil,
a non-profit dedicated to providing free wireless Internet over the
island of Montreal, The Homeless Nation installed computers, internet
access and cameras in the makeshift refuge camp organised by ATSA - Action Terroriste Socialment Acceptable.
Dubbed "L'Etat d'urgence", the event aimed to raise awareness about the
crisis of homelessness in Canada. For 5 days, homeless people could
find food, clothing and shelter, as well as take part in art
installations, workshops and concerts.
