I've always had HUGE respect for Pivot - the law is a powerful tool. It can be a tool of repression, but the law is what we make of it. It is a PARTICIPATORY process, and challenging laws is part of living in a democracy.

And what they've done with hope and shadows is such a great model - its something we always talked about with homeless nation, creating a cd that folks could buy for a few dollars and sell for as much as they like - we should look at getting something like this together for xmas 2008!

Great great work coming out of Van! its awesome to see you guys fully trained and motivated and taking things on in your community - seems like its all over the city to. Bravo.
