We are the world

Today is a new day and my wife and I are in a place where we can drop in and have coffee and do our email and get a hot meal. We feel very blessed to have this place. It's called our place, the gentleman who opened the building is so wonderful to us. We are a happy family, many of live in shelters here in Victoria. Places are hard to find as they costly here. I'm wanting to write a book about my life and my adventures in life. My wife stays by my side and takes really good care of me. I'm proud of her as she's been clean and sober for 5 days nows. I fell off the wagon, on welfare day but, gave my crack pipe 2 nights ago and this made my wife proud that she began to cry. I love her very much and would do anything for her. She's great. We met in Nanaimo. Just getting over a really bad cold that almost took my life last winter. They (the health unit) gave the wrong meds. this so, many of us got really ill. I was blessed to get meds. before it hit me and knocked me on my ass, like it did in 2006. That's when my heartattack almost took my life, but, my wife is very smart and kept me alive. Thank God for my wife. I think I'm very blessed to have her. I love living on the island, no matter where I run to, I run back here to my special place. The mountains, the ocean and the wild life are what would bring you close to your higher power, it would blow you away.
