Jubilee Project

Hi, I'm a local Victoria guy who writes songs. Right now I am working on a musical to highlight the lives of street people/homeless in Victoria. The format is tell a story, song, tell a story, song etc. I would really like to hear your stories: how you ended up on the street, what you life is like and what your hopes for the future are. I don't know how to get those from you yet (just joined the site) but maybe blog or email to me? Anyway, here is an outline of the musical. It's called 'Come Join the Jubilee' Thanks, Anthony .................................................................................................................................. Premise: God’s jubilee is a radical model for relationships rooted in the Old Testament but vitally relevant for our present time. When Jesus came he inaugurated a permanent spiritual Jubilee in Jewish society and called all who would follow Him to practice the Jubilee way of living. Purpose: To challenge listeners, Christian and non-Christian to embrace a view that recognizes we’re all equal before God and to choose a lifestyle that extends justice and mercy to all; especially the most vulnerable in our midst.
