I have worked at the Parkdale Activity - Recreation Centre - PARC for 8 years now. Everyday I see the effects of poverty and what happens without a housing policy that works at all levels of government. I believe that housing must be first and foremost on all our priority lists. I also believe that not all housing is a Home. Home needs to be defined by the person or persons who will live in it. Maya Angelou said it best... “I long, as does every human being, to be at home wherever I find myself.”
