The Not So Amazing Race
So Here I am in Halifax, and I have Just Been Challanged to the first annual Not So Amazing Race! Cliff thinks that he can beat me in a race, starting in Halifax, and ending at the Delta Port in Vancouver. This race is a hands down, fast as you can go, no holds barred, death race! And the only way to travel is freight trains!
NO planes, busses, cars, bikes, not even hitchhiking.
I accept the challange fully. and cliff, You'll be seeing my tag under every railroad bridge saying "Old man, you can't catch this Cripple"
well keep you posted of the starting dates.
Mike

you have to keep us up to date on how the race goes.
do you have a camera so you can submit some pics along the way.
I liked the last series... and would love to see a photo finish
Hey Mike, let me know roughly when your getting close to being in Van and we can arrange a time to do some more recording. I here a song in my head reminicent of a Stompin' Tom classic in The Not So Amazing Race ......The not So Amazing Race, The Not So Amazing Race, try and try as he may, Cliff just can't seem to keep pace. And he'll be disgraced, yeah he'll be disgraced, by this hobo hobbling along with his 'ol guitar and a smile on his face...... Holy shit man, I am deliriously tired from working to many graveyard shifts. See you soon,
James
Dude, this is so great... You need to keep us inform of the evolution of the race. I think this is amazing actually.... hahahaha Good luck haybail!!!
ROACH: UNDERGROUND PUNKROCK FILMMAKING
don't worry crippled boy i'm pretty spry for an old man don't worry i'll save you a little joint from the bottom of the bag !!!hahaha
The Old Man and the Cripple aren't the only ones in on this, count the Red-Head in too. I personally think, that without a dog or a gimp or age slowin' me down, I'll be waitin at the finish for 'em all.
All right, so I'll take the books on this one....I'll give 5-2 odds on the heavily favoured Haybail 'The Bearded Dragon' Mike and 7-1 on the underdog 'Suicidal' Cliff.
Cigarette butts and twigs are acceptable currency. Bookie (me) takes 25% of the books as a cut. (Hey, being a bookie is EXPENSIVE!)
