Hating all around me never knowing the truth,
wishing for my heart to stop so that I can know true peace.
Always running from the pain,
but never getting far enough to break my emotional leash.
Feeling all that ties me down,
knowing that death is my only option.
I know the consequences of my actions,
though I have to commit the biggest sin.
All my fears and all my pain,
flashing before my eyes.
Always playing in my mind,
like a bad movie that makes you cry.
Now I have done the deed,
sitting here scared to speak.
Now i watch myself bleed,
as all life drains from limp body.
That ain't shit.
Listen at this;
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you.
I hear babies cry, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
