names gentle ben, otherwise known as ben the townie. i hail from the west coast of bc, and am mostly interested in spending the warm months in the maritimes. i'd later like to become an ascetic monk of some sort, and deny myself of all desires... but for now i'm an alcohol/drug abusing hobo, and i justify that by saying that "the way of the drunkard is the perfect preparation for the life of a mystic". thank you, and peaceout.

so i've just quit my job - roofin'- and got the last of the gear i need for travelin' this season. its almost may, and i'm still waitin for a fucking tax return. i'll be on the rails soon though, Bound For Newfoundland. i'm hauling my geet-box with me this time 'round, since its impossible to go more than a week without pluckin' a string. i'm excited to meet up with the c.r.r.a. childs, and to enjoy a summer of drunken hobo madness. i'll see you all in halifax/st.john's.
