  • Homeless no longer

Here I am back in my hometown Calgary. I travelled 12,213 km. over the summer. I saw very few hitchers out on the road, I'm guessing they were either in the truck stops or on the rails. Good to be home but I'm finding it hard to sleep in a regular bed, I may have to set up my tent in the backyard to get a good nights sleep! Go figure!

  • Away I go!

I'm heading out early tomorrow morning and won't have access to the net for the next couple of weeks. Looking so forward to a cool Rocky Mtn. breeze.
I've been hanging out in cottage country the last couple of days and I can't believe the heat. I can't sleep, I sweat just sitting still. My point being how are people surviving in downtown TO. Are there enough places to get in and stay cool? Are those places open 24/7?
There are so many empty cottage up here I'm appalled at the waste of living spaces. It made me think about a man who lived in the Shuswap Lake area in BC by breaking into people's cabins when they where not there during the winter months.
