Life is still a choice. Working to help homeless people see that they DO have choices-just like I chose to not tolerate abuse and not be homeless any longer. Need to be work 'n' together now. As for me, I will be posting blogs for resources for: 1) Housing 2) Low cost places for food 3) Low cost places to buy items needed to live 4) Medical and dental resources and health and nutrition/physical rehabilitation 5) Information regarding: Scope of homelessness (a new perspective from a different angle?), getting out of the trap of addiction and/or co-dependency by (self) awareness and action for positive change, emotional rehabilitation and healing from, recognizing, and the psychological effects of abuse (especially emotional), safety and protecting the self. Also building self esteem and tearing down lies. 6) Freedom of Information and obtaining records: (birth, adoption, Legal, Police, Medical etc). KNOW your Rights! 7) Suggest ways we can change society's view as a whole to the homeless/those in poverty and work together more effectively and reduce the negative impact of the results of being on the streets and survive by honest and creative means in coping with poverty 8) whatever else I can think of that will help - check it out! I guarantee its worth your while!
