Welcome! I'm Jay Black. I live in Vancouver. I'm not homeless, but my younger brother who died of a heroin overdose was homeless the last year of his life. I joined Homeless Nation because he no longer can.
I'm a freelance photographer and internationally published poet. I've been documenting the effort by the homeless and activists in Vancouver to pressure VANOC and all three levels of government to live up to their Olympic bid social legacy promise to build subsidized housing for the homeless and others on low incomes.

Hi anya. Thanks for stopping by. Well, with the Olympics coming there's all kinds of construction vehicles and cranes and wrecking balls rumbling over here on the west coast. How about in Montreal?
