What Cirque du Monde Project is about? First of all it's the community branch of Cirque du Soleil international organisation. Than its goal is to give opportunity to chalenged youth (17 to 30) to get in action, express themselves (mainly toward the community or society) throught the art of circus. What is art of circus we speaking about acrobatic, juggling, clowning, equilibrum, cheerleading, firework, any kind or art performance (music, break danse, singing, drumming, light show, multimedia) and many more; mainly when you using arts, your talents or abilities to express yourself to others. Specially here in the Cirque du Monde Montreal Project, we offering an environment, space and time twice a week (monday and wednesday afternoon) for anyone who is interested in art performance around circus and show environment. There is 2 coaches highly competend, stimulant, and enthusiastic hired by Cirque du Monde and trained at the École National du Cirque that are there to teach the youth anything about circus from , accrobatic, trapeze, juggling, firework, flips, gymnastic, clowing, miming, music, gunboots, anything. Name it and they will initiate you into your interest. Also, it's a place to get in shape and increase your stamina, because the coaches are master in training bodies to be able to accomplish wonders through acrobacies. We offering too a continuity in this project. By building a group of people interest in training more and building a show that we will present the 13 of may during the annual party of CIRQUE du Monde. It's a simple show, in all simplicity where the 7 projets running in Quebec province meet together and exchange trics and present there talents and new skills to others. a great party time with circus bodies. We doing outings too, going in specialized recreation center to perform special circus arts such as trapezium, scarf in tied to the roof, trampoline and so on... And we have often opportunities to go see for free circus show such as the last major one Delirium from Cirque du Soleil and others occuring at la Tohus, acircus show theater. it's free, come visit for a day, you can come when ever, once, twice or every week, sporadicaly or constantly. as you wish you are welcome. the place is at REcreation center Marcel de la Sabloniere, at the 4265 rue Papineau (coner Rachel) from 13:45 to 16:30 the Mondays and Wednesday.
