Dirty, slimey, forgoton and alone.
We are nothing but food for those who prey on the weak.

Hello, I have been sober for over 100 days now and it hasn't been easy. It has been alot of hard work and dedication. I have had to give up friends and make new ones. I have had to get in touch with my feelings and try to find out who I really am inside. I now have a goal in mind for a career.I want to work with street kids; as a former street kid myself I believe that people can benifit from a person who as actually been there rather than an "educated" counsellor.

Short Burst

Distant memories of stolen dreams
I am lost in silent screams
My world is bursting at the seams
Its all not as bad as it seems

I left home when I was young
Left to travel and instead I got spun
Into a world of drugs and guns
I became afraid of being hung

Scared into being straight
I was not going to take the bait
I will be real and not be fake
My hope is mine and it I will take

On a journey to stay clean
I will one day be serene
Because I have left the scene
And I will always remember where I've been.
