I am Mamma Bear. I am homeless again and I am staying in
a shelter. I am from the bear clan. So, as a clan mother by rights, this gives me the right to be called
Mamma Bear. I am also the treasurer of the Victoria Committee on ending all homelessness. I am also an activist for homeless people. Trying to get low-cost housing built.

In 2006 more than 106 homeless people died in Victoria, BC. With only a population of 75,000 this is a sad reflection upon the capital city of British Columbia.
