Je suis le chef d'un nouveau parti, le Parti de la gauche du Québec, et mes membres et moi sommes très avisés de voir a ce que les hommes et les femmes qui vivent en dehors des sentiers battus puissent le faire en toute tranquillité d'esprit : a ce titre, dans notre programme politique nous instaurerons une Place Émilie-Gamelin permanente pour tous ceux et celles qui cherchent un peu d'humanité dans la grisaille de la ville.
