Once again we have had to say good-bye to one of our dear friends. Eric has touched most of us through his film, poetry, photography, music and artwork. We are sad to see him go but greatful to have been lucky enough to experience his great spirit. We will be working together to plan a memorial for Eric in the very near future. If you would like to be involved please contact me.

What the F@#% is this

Direct Quotes from the streetpeople.com :

Street-People.com was created to chronicle the stories of the homeless and raise awareness of the continuing problem of homelessness through the use of humor. Here they are entertainment, like creatures in an online petting zoo without the urine smell.

What you will find on this site are not heart-wrenching stories of loss, but rather profiles detailing the underground economics and off-the-radar lifestyles of street people as they try to cajole, scam and plead for money from anyone they encounter. The profiles featured here are of real street people from our city as well as other cities we visit in which we have a unique homeless experience

Update from Kandahar

I recently recieved another email from mine friend who is stuck in the war.

small simple message.

"No new holes yet. I can't wait to get out of this shitty place."

I can't imagine the pain he feels or even what thoughts might be going through his mind. As bad as it may be for him it is so much worse for the people who were born and raised in the area. What can life really be like. We are so lucky and we don't even realize it.

Please come home safe C
A
