John has been camping out in a north branch of the Don Valley for almost a year. Since last summer and throughout the winter he has created a small compound complete with vegetable garden and his pet cat. Now with the help of Salvation Army outreach workers and the City's Streets to Homes initiative, John has a bachelor apartment ll his own in an adults-only building that suits him perfectly.
