Pain

This morning I awake. The molten lava in my bones settled out
through the night like it always does. I moaned all night because
it's damn freezing. The scene is that the bank took my govt. cheque
and then closed my accoount. The bank doesn't know where the money
is and the govt says the bank has the money. So the rent isn't paid
and so the heat doesn't go on. Well friends pain is pain , however
my roomate doesn't think so. He's quite upset that I was moaning this
morning while I woke up. Being in pain I think I mentioned punching
him if he didn't get the f23k off my back. The irony is that he is one
step away froom the shelters and it seems that I've been put in his
path to let him know that there is a way to live once Babylon has
had it's way with you. I look for sources of empathy and understanding
but pain ushers in the immediate under most circumstances.

So I listen to Alexis and think about the pain.

I am so sorry to hear this happened n3u7.

The only suggestion I can give you is to call the bank's "investigations" department. They have access to all banking information within the system. They should be able to tell you where the money went within 24 hours.

Can you think of any resources to draw on to get you through this month? What province are you in?

Thats fu*king bullsh*t man How the hell do they lose 300+ dollas? Sounds shady to me. The system should have a replaced cheque scenario? They do where I live, if you've lost your cheque they can replace it also you could have your utilities/rent paid directly is another option where I live so this cirumstance doesn't happen to you again. I hope you get through this tough time.

PEACE!

Metis Rebel:

Thanks for the tip. I'll call TD investigations tomorow.
My bank manager herself said she "has no idea". BTW, I'm
in Ontario, Toronto in fact.

Well my other concern is what to do *now*.

Do you go to any social service agencies?

Some of them have discretionary funds for clients in just such an emergency. Then you just give them the money back when you get it from TD.

What *exactly* is happening?
Are you being threatened with eviction?

You said you are "cold"--is the heat off or was that a figure of speech?

Hi Metis Rebel

The reference to the heat was literal, and really
its just that my landlord is from the country or something
, he turns the heat off at night. Still , it triggers alot
o shit and pain, but whatever its a place. There's no threat
to eviction and he's being cool but I think it sux.People used
say that I was a pleasure to do business with and I want
my landlord to think that more that anything. I sincerely
wish that I wasn't so jaeded by that fucking block I lived
on where there is NO BUSINESS, just theft and hussles.

None the less, I have stopped eating over this. My record is 17
days so we'll see what happens.Today I will put this fooferah in the
sphere of my own suffering by fasting (which brings strengh in circumstances
like this),when your being screwed at the highest level.

On this quazi modereated site.(I can't even update a photo when I want)
I shiver at a flame bait post from someone like you who sits in front
of a terminal once every week or two.
Anything constructive to add Greenracoon?

Good comeback. [ha ha]

One thing to remember here is that *anyone* can access this site. That means disruption is one of the unavoidable side-effects of no "ignore" buttons and no censorship.

Also, everything from social service workers to spying by the government and social services funders occurs here--they concern me a great deal more with their political games than some 17-year-old with nothing better to do than be annoying.
