RALLY AT BC LEG ON BUDGET DAY
Food, music, speeches, friends, media, a couple of opposition politicians, security, and of course a few dogs. The public was barred from entering the BC legislature on this BUDGET day and not a BC LIBERAL could be seen. The lawn was also off limits.
Food was served by those who advocate an end to homelessness while the government of BC announced the budget for the coming year with a surplus of over $3 billion from 2006 and giving big tax cuts for all those people who earn upto 108,000 a year.
