Olympics in Vancouver

I just want to say that when I was at the woodwards squat and the IOC was coming to Vancouver it was in the interest of the city of Vancouver to remove the poor people from the sight of the committee that had only one interest and that was to protect it's own interest money and it was the same in China when they put in their bid for the olympics a few years ago we will house the homeless temporarily so we can get what we want and make it look like we don't have a housing problem. What the city is doing is trying to get us the people of the downtown to become someone else's reponsibiliy and move people from their own communities and relocate elsewhere so thay can promote their own interests.
I feel that the Downtown East Side people should remain where thay are and fight for their right to live in the downtown eastside during 2010.this is a shame that the people will have to suffer for the city's profit. I called a friend in Edmonton and he said that he does not want to see people removed from their homes and that we should all stand together and help each other. this is going to be a bad time for homeless peole as it is only 3 years til 2010 and we need to come up with a solution rather than removal
