2nd Recording Session With Homeless Nation

2006.08.22 - 8:59 PM

I had a heated conversation with a friend last night, it ended with me asking him to simply walk away from me. I also stated that I wished to not have further contact with him. This was based around my views he was imparting on his child.

I might seem niave, but trying to impart your morals or life values on your children is, in actuallity, the stealing of the fundmental freedoms of childhood.

The ability to grow and foster yourself, hopefully with the full support of your parents.

And although they may not agree with all of the actions you'll take throughout your life, they should try to stand beside you.

I'll sort out the last bit of this arguement at the end of this update. First some context.

This blog has suffered a paucity of updates. This oweing to the fact I've been working on various projects as of late, as well as barely coasting from pay cheque to pay cheque. Also I've been drinking away large parts of the days. Memories falling into blackouts.

I've been here for nearly an hour. Trying to figure out what I was going to write about.

I though about doing the short photoessay thing (That's where you put all the photos in a row, then write a short blurb about each bit.)

Or maybe a short semi-fiction update about recording music with my friends.

Instead, I'm going to do niether.

I'm going to use homelessnation what it's for.

Being honest.

I've been in Vancouver all summer, and I've hated most of it. My friends have left. Everybody is travelling, and I'm here working, being relatively broke, and not doing any of the things I'd very much like to do. Like travel.

And for what?

A fucking apartment.

So I can run around like a shnook for a bunch of other people.

Fuck that.

I'm going camping, I'll blog about the recording session when the moon gets tired of chasing the sun.

Sincerely, Aerosol Constellations
