thanks, Anna! My name is Brett, Im one of the people who works on this site.
please keep the photos coming - can you give us some captions? Also - I am toying with the idea of creating a fundraiser CD with music recorded by our outreach teams to raise some money for equipment for them - it would be cool to use some photos. We have some, but I'm wondering if we could use some of yours? Again, keep 'em coming!
I have tons of videos and pics to add, the problem is the video doesn't seem to be working, for me anyways. Can you watch it? I'll keep the photos coming. If you would like to see more go here :

This is the original website I started, and slowly I will post them here with some videos too. I just don't know how to use this site yet, it seems that if I try and post more than 3 photos at a time, they overlap eachother.

Great Stuff Ana. Took a look around your other site...
What kind of camera are you using?
Yes, I've had techie probs with photos and stuff here too.
Brett--can we get a WYSIWYG desktop editor for writing, photo, pics etc. on here? Thanks!
I'm actually meeting some folks this week to improve the site. Stay with us! The WYSIWYG editor is difficult with the software we use, but there are things we can do. Meanwhile, just try and post 3 pictures per blog, and write several blogs.
Cheers!

If I'm not mistaken, I read somewhere on the site that you are using "open source" software so forgive my ignorance, but doesn't that mean linux/unix?
Open Source simply means that the source code is open for others to modify. In our case, we use a system called Drupal. Programmers build "modules" that allow the site to do things (ie blog, leave comments, post pictures). the one that has been developed for the editor is, in my opinion, no good. Also, additional features can cause more confusion. For a lot of new users, we want to cut down on the barrage of info that this site displays, so I made the decision to cut the WYSIWYG editor for that reason, as well as the fact that it didn't work very well, and not at all on some browsers.
Like I said, I'm meeting with some developers this week to develop a relationship, as we currently don't have any hard core programmers on our staff that can do this stuff for us, and whats out there just doesn't work.

Thanks Brett, for spending the time to explain it in layperson terms. I am in the process of switching to knoppix and debian so I have some idea what can be done with linux forms of open source.
You might wanna talk to "Bleedapathy" on here. I've had some discussions with him and he seems to be a bit of a computer whizzly.
