I hope this doesn't offend anyone. It was not my intention. I meant it in a tongue-in-cheek, sarcastic way, aimed at the government... and other elitist bigots. :D

10 DUMB-ASS WAYS TO "HELP" THE HOMELESS
1. Count them.
2. Ticket them for loitering.
3. Ban panhandling.
4. Tell them to, "get a job!"
5. Cross to the other side of the street when you see one up ahead.
6. Refuse to give them money because, “they’ll just spend it on booze,” as you’re walking into LCBO.
7. Kick them out of Emergency because, “They’re just looking for a bed to sleep in.”
8. Smugly hand them a sandwich and then walk away proud cuz you saved a quarter.
9. Remark rudely about them having cell phones while YOU have the latest Smartphone.
10.Beat them to a pulp, taser them or, … oops! … kill them. (by mistake, of course).
agreed. the counting part wouldn't be so bad if it was accurate, and translated to more services, money, etc. but it just seems there is one study after another with no actual implementation of anything that is actually useful for people.
i am sure this list could be bigger. it would be good to see your list for way to help instead of 'help' i am sure you would have some useful suggestions and insights.
