12 Ways to Give Away Your Power
1 Whenever you acknowledge someone else’s opinion as more valid than your own...you give away your power.
2 Whenever you apologize for an act when you had no negative intention... you give away your power.
3 Whenever you judge another’s action as wrong without understanding their context...you give away your power.
4 Whenever you don’t follow your internal guidance and look to an external source... you give away your power.
5 Whenever you allow an authority without jurisdiction to govern your life... you give away your power.
6 Whenever you please someone to get something you want...you give away your power.
7 Whenever someone violates your sovereign boundaries without your permission and you say nothing...you give away your power.
8 Whenever you participate in something that goes against your values...you give away your power.
9 Whenever you share your wisdom with someone who is not paying attention...you give away your power.
10 Whenever you speak your sacred dream with people who are not your allies only to impress them...you give away your power.
11 Whenever you speak without intention & presence...you give away your power.
12 Whenever you let others handle your private affairs...you give away your power.



And, according to you, retaining this power is both important and worthwhile?
Is it not, I might argue, part of our social contract that this power be both given away and received through interaction?
