going Pro...

Well the Vancouver DreamCatchers played the Pro's the other day when we faced off with the WhiteCap Alumini team...It was our first time playing on the big field and big nets(we are street soccer team,its a bit different.) However i want to say that im very happy with the team and our play - we gave them a good run.I also wanted to mention i got the opening goal,however we did go down 5-2.But the real winner was the awareness of homelessness.Lots of media and interviews and dialogue about changing our current system and addressing the issue of not enough affordable housing.so ya,,thats it..we keep practicing until our Calgary competition in Sept...till then we will keep y'all posted here at H/N...Solidarity..JH
