power tripping pigs in the parc
wensday june 7th parc emilie-gamelin or berri parc like most people call it.
sitting around bitching about not having any beer, then the cops showed up, didn`t like the empties then started handing out tickets... drinking in public,littering,underage drinking.. arrested a girl, shes in jail for 2 days now for an empty that wasnt even hers. gotta love when shit goes sour. everyone started to get upity, the batons came out, the cop that was escorting the girl to the car fucking knocked her to the ground in a power trip.people got involved the pigs called for back up, 4 or 5 more cars pulled up sirens and all, everyone in the park was in an uproar, business people were freaking out on the cops, some guy took pictures of it all but i don`t know where he took off to, wish i did though.
we stuck around after the cops left but we figured they were coming back and sure enough they did. im sure all of the 21 divison filled there quota yesterday man, tickets for anything, 16 cops showed up saying it was a routine sweep.. bullshit they we just pissed off because for once the business folk took our side.
i almost got a ticket for telling my friends about a show. but nope, that wasnt good enough, they decided to give me a ticket for.... ha its pretty funny actually, screaming in the park.`Dans un parc ayant passe des cris` 141$, ha. im always in need for more things to wipe my ass with.but anyway got all the names of the pigs the sections of the cars plus licence plate numbers. dont know how thats going to help... seemed like a good idea at the time still does now. if anyone was there yesterday i wanna hear about what rediculas fines people got. if anyone one out there got pictures of that send em my way please. aright im done, see you guys in the parc..

16 cops for a couple of beer bottles. Isn't that a lovely use of the fine taxpayer's money....
The only sense that this kind of police action makes, is 'nonsense'.

The ticket you were given in the park is actually invalid. The rules supporting the emission of that ticket were declared unconstitutional by the superior and supreme courts of quebec in 2002 in a case called la reine vs. l'intime

I don't know the law there so I'm glad you did and told them. I hope they get it straightened out. It's all such mickey-mouse harrassment.
