Court Jesters or Something or other...

The politics of being poor is that we are always in front of some one's gun. Simply because we are poor, womyn, FN, disabled, or whatever labels society wants to stick on us: as if we were a giant sticky.

It is because of this treatment that society thinks we are disposable and that we can afford to wait for them to deliver our sentencing when ever it is convient for them. Take for instance my friend " Red" he has been busted for panning so many times that the courts figure that they can continue to put him off and delay his court date as many times as they want. Just like they have done to my other " friend Andrew" who has been waiting two and a half years for his day in court for his part in creating a documentary on dumpster diving. The police his camera with film and all and have had since they day they busted the scene. So the camera has been detained and Andrew is going to court at the end of May for doing a documentary on dumpster diving. Then there is the big court case on the tent city from 2005 who will finally be going to court in june for being homeless people.

So we have remember in this game we are to hurry up and wait, get a F'N job, get off the street and out of my sight but stay where you are so I can see where you are. Always remember you are at society beacon call when they need someone to put down when they are not complaining about the weather.
